How Do We Be Safe?

What makes us safe in a very unsafe world? It takes a lot more than taking our shoes off at the airport and just knowing the good folks at Homeland Security are on their  jobs.  John Graham is just back from Switzerland, where he participated in the by-invitation Caux Forum on Human Security, the third in a series of Forums he calls "one  of the most exciting and promising tools for building peace" he's ever seen. By emphasizing the link between personal and political change, and by broadening the definition of human security to include freedom from poverty and injustice, the Caux Forum on Human Security breaks important new ground.
